Why Engineering?
    Today the world's population is 7.1 billion people.  In the next 30 years the population is expected to  increase to 9.6 billion.
    The population of India  alone will rise from 1.35 billion in 2021 to 1.6 billion  in 2050.
    More people will require more roads,  more bridges, more tunnels, better transportation  systems, higher buildings,
    comfortable homes,  safer cars, faster planes and better infrastructure.  Engineers will also make these things.
   Previously, in order to grab a seat in Engineering, a nationalized exam called as the Joint Engineering Entrance or JEE Main  was conducted. The students of the
   Maharashtra board were at a disadvantage due to the CBSE nature of the syllabus.
   Thus  the Maharashtra government has backed out from the JEE exam and reintroduced the Common Entrance Test also known as  MHT-CET.
    Below are some of the differences between the JEE Main exam and the new MHT-CET exam :
